Ember Infrastructure Announces Promotions

NEW YORK, July 14, 2026 – Ember is delighted to announce four promotions: Jisung Baek to Chief Financial Officer, Jamila Hu and Mark Westfall to Vice President, and Jasmine Wang to Senior Associate.

Jisung Baek has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer, bringing 19 years of experience in fund accounting in the private equity sector. Prior to Ember, he was Controller at Certares Management LLC, a private equity firm based in New York, where he managed fund and management company accounting, audit, tax and other aspects of the firm's operations. Previously, he spent seven years at various private equity investment firms including Staple Street Capital and Avista Capital Partners, where he handled aspects of private equity fund accounting and administration. He started his career at Credit Suisse, providing audit services to clients in the real estate sector.

Jamila Hu has been promoted to Vice President, bringing over nine years of experience in investing and finance. Prior to Ember, Jamila was a member of the investment team at Brookfield Asset Management, where she worked across both the Infrastructure and Private Equity platforms. She began her career in Deals Advisory at PwC. Jamila holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia.

Mark Westfall has been promoted to Vice President, bringing nine years of experience in energy investing and finance. Prior to Ember, Mark was a member of the investment team at Energy Impact Partners, where he focused on the energy transition sector. Before EIP, Mark was a member of Citi's Energy and Industrials group in the Corporate Banking division. Mark holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University.

Jasmine Wang has been promoted to Senior Associate. In her role, Jasmine supports Ember's investor relations and capital development efforts, including LP communications, fundraising activities, investor reporting, and the cultivation of new and existing limited partner relationships. Prior to Ember, Jasmine was a strategy consultant at ZS Associates. Jasmine holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Princeton University.
