Jim Reinhart Joins Ember as Operating Partner

January 12, 2026 – Ember Infrastructure Management ("Ember" or the “Firm”) has announced today that Jim Reinhart has joined the Firm as Operating Partner. 

Jim Reinhart brings more than 35 years of experience leading high growth, operationally intensive companies across the real assets, financial services, and technology sectors, having held multiple CEO and other C-suite positions throughout his career. Jim will spearhead value creation initiatives across portfolio companies, partnering with portfolio company leadership teams and Ember’s investment team.

Most recently, Jim served as Chief Executive Officer of MakoRabco, a national leader in self-storage construction. Previously, Jim served as Chief Executive Officer of YGRENE, a national leader in property improvement financing, National Credit Care, and QTS Realty Trust, a global provider of data center services where he managed 25 global data centers and over 500 employees. Jim holds an M.B.A. from Harvard, an M.S. and B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland and the U.S. Naval Academy respectively.
