Ken Knibbs

Ken has more than three decades of leadership across environmental services, emergency response, and technical operations. He has a demonstrated ability to scale organizations, strengthen commercial execution, and build high-performance teams across highly regulated businesses.
Most recently, Ken served as President of Patriot Environmental Services, where he held full P&L responsibility for a multi-entity platform generating $170 million in annual revenue. He led a workforce of 700 employees across operations, commercial, HR, safety, and compliance, driving sustained profitability while advancing operational efficiency and market expansion initiatives. He also championed a strong safety culture and partnered closely with executive stakeholders to align business strategy with financial and operational objectives.
Previously, Ken held senior leadership roles at HEPACO, where he served as both Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. In these roles, he oversaw company-wide commercial strategy and large-scale operations, guiding the organization through a period of significant organic growth. His leadership spanned sales, marketing, operational planning, organizational development, and enterprise performance systems.
Before HEPACO, Ken spent more than 15 years at U.S. Ecology in multiple executive roles, including Vice President overseeing the Emergency Response National program. Under his leadership, the program expanded from an early-stage initiative into a nationwide platform exceeding $100 million in annual revenue. He also led acquisition integration efforts, spearheaded new service center development, and contributed to technical services, ESG initiatives, and long-range strategic planning.
Earlier in his career, Ken held leadership positions across environmental response, hazardous materials management, and remediation services, building the operational depth that informs his work today.
Ken holds a postgraduate degree from the University of Wales.
